Esophageal Manometry

WLS will start performing manometry to assess the swallowing and reflux in patients who are considering or have undergone weight loss surgery. This new test measures how the food travels down the esophagus into the stomach. We will be one of the first practices to utilize this new technology. We will be writing reports about how this can influence care.
